Suggestions on Broiler Breeding Equipment in Farms

At present, there are many farms that use poultry farming equipment to raise chickens. After all, the use of breeding equipment can reduce labor. Broiler chickens can be brought out of the market faster, which can enable farmers to obtain faster economic benefits. What are the suggestions for the breeding equipment for broilers in the farms?

First of all, the chicken should be disinfected in time before raising chickens. This is a must. Farmers should thoroughly disinfect the chicken coops to avoid the existence of bacteria and pathogenic microorganisms. However, most chicken coops are inadequately prepared for disinfection, which leads to incomplete disinfection and the chickens are susceptible to diseases. Therefore, farmers should thoroughly disinfect all aspects of equipment and tools before feeding chickens.

Choose healthy chicks for breeding, otherwise unhealthy chicks will cause certain troubles to farmers and will affect economic benefits. It is very important for chicks to start eating and drinking water. Too late drinking water will lead to dehydration and death of chicks, while too late eating will lead to cannibalization of some chicks and other foreign bodies. Farmers should first rest the chicks in the transportation box for 30 minutes after receiving the chicks from the cages, then release free drinking water for 2-3 hours (24-36 hours after the chicks come out of the shells), and then spread the materials on the food opening plate to eat freely. Antiepidemic drugs can be added to drinking water.

The temperature in the brooding chicken house is not properly controlled, and a relatively high temperature is needed to ensure the healthy growth of the chicks when they are just born. The breeder should control the temperature at about 33 ~ 35℃ in the first week of the brooding. Because the survival rate of chicks is directly affected by temperature, too low a temperature will lead to a drop in chicken body temperature and weak resistance, thus causing various diseases. Too high a temperature will lead to thermal effect and heatstroke.

Low awareness of hygiene and epidemic prevention: The environmental hygiene of chicken farm equipment is the key to ensure the healthy growth of chicken flocks, so the hygiene management of chicken coops is very important. Xingruida suggests that farmers should have special shoes and clothes when entering and leaving. Don’t raise people to enter or leave the chicken coop at will. If sick chickens appear, you should have the consciousness of rapid isolation and disinfection. In terms of disinfection, farmers must have the concept of regular disinfection.
